Chain Breaker Part 5 (Use That Tongue)

The power of life and of death lie in our tongues. How we utilize this power is key to our success as we break chains off of our lives. We can push ourselves closer towards our destiny, or we can uproot and destroy what God is trying tio accomplish. Are you using your tongue well?

Chain Breaker Part 4 (Attitude of Gratitude)

In this episode we look at the medical, scientific, and Biblical studies surrounding the truth about walking in an attitude of gratitude. Choosing each day to be thankful has incredible benefits to your life, your future, and even your mental health. Purposefully seeking out the goodness of God and recognizing all the little blessings in your life will cause chains of negativity to fall off your mind. Being thankful will remove depression and replace it with joyful expectation. It will cause you to walk through life with an optimistic outlook, rather than in the pessimistic attitude of defeat. Choose this day to be thankful. To walk in an attitude of gratitude for all the Lord has done, and for all the things He has yet to do. Good things are on the horizon. Better days lie ahead. Let us choose each day to recognize the goodness of God along the journey, and to live with grateful hearts, thanking Him.

Chain Breaker Part 3 (Breaking The Chains of Control)

Often times in life we find ourselves stuck in a sticky situation based on decisions we made that were not a part of God's plan for our lives. God wanted us to do one thing, but we decided that our way was better. In the end we found ourselves feeling more hurt, more depressed, and more alone than ever before. The chains of pride will only ever lead us to destruction. God calls us to relinquish control, humble ourselves before Him, and watch Him open doors for us at the right time as we trust Him. The journey into greater things will require us to be humble, to follow after God's plan rather than our own, and to break the chains of pride that have held us back for far too long. Humility will break those chains.

Chain Breaker Part 2 (Trusting The Process)

Part of breaking chains in our lives involves coming to the realization that trusting in the process of God's divine plan for us is key. If we can come to the understanding that sometimes God's plan requires that people and places reject us, timing is not always right, and certain doors simply must be shut, then we can walk in confidence. We can break the chains of rejection. We can break the chains of insecurity. We can break the chains of doubt. Trusting the process moves us into a secure place of hope, knowing that even when we don't understand the details behind the trial, God promises that there is purpose in the pain.

From Apathy To Expectancy

Why are we so quick to forget the goodness of God? If He has the power to create the universe than why should we expect anything less when we find ourselves stuck in a difficult situation. Rather than shrinking back in doubt and in fear, content to remain in the mediocre place we find ourselves in, why not begin to expect God for greater things? Rather than losing hope and becoming apathetic, we must move into a place of faithful expectation, ready and waiting for God to show up and show out for us in our lives. 

Surviving Obscurity

We have dreams in our hearts and a vision for our lives, but no matter what we do it seems that nobody notices our efforts, our talents, or the call of God on our lives. These are seasons of obscurity, and despite what you may think, God has not forgotten you. His plans for you are still good. He has, however, placed you in this season of your life for a reason. There is purpose in the pain. There is hope in the trial. There are lessons to be learned as we find ourselves surviving obscurity.
